Patrick W. Welch, Chairman
Patrick Welch is the force behind Adaco’s sales and marketing initiatives and day-to-day
operations. Patrick brings with him a deep knowledge of the hospitality industry,
based on years of experience as a Senior Manager with Resorts International, in
Miami, and the Turgeon restaurant chain in New York. These valuable experiences
have contributed toward Patrick’s exceptional skills in Accounting and Operations.
Sunil Ippagunta, President
Sunil Ippagunta has a strong background in business development and technology.
Prior to joining Adaco as President, Sunil held various management and technology
positions at Unisys, Singapore International Monetary Exchange, Computer Associates,
Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan Chase and Citibank. He defined strategies and designed
innovative technology solutions that significantly improved the operation of these
companies. Sunil holds BS in computer science from JNT University and an MS in computational
finance from Carnegie Mellon University.
Thomas G. Metzen, Founder & Advisor
Tom Metzen is a seasoned hospitality-industry professional with more than 26 years
of experience in purchasing and inventory control. Before coming to Adaco, Tom’s
experiences with R.J. Reynolds/Services Systems, Sonesta Hotels, and Marriott prepared
him well for the challenges to come. Tom has spent many years interacting with clients
and is keenly sensitive to their needs. His goal has always been to continuously
refine and streamline those processes that enhance the company’s core-value proposition.
Prior to founding Adaco, Tom was the Executive General Manager of Marriott’s multi-billion
dollar Management-Services division in Buffalo, New York.
Frank G. Walbridge, Vice President of Business Development
Frank Waldridge was Director of Six Sigma for Westin La Cantera Resort in San Antonio,
Texas, where he had also been the Director of Purchasing, and it is in this context
that Frank first gained exposure to Adaco software. Frank was a chef for the Westin
property for eight years as well, responsible for all aspects of culinary operations
and accountable for employee and guest satisfaction. His Six Sigma experience spans
much of his time in leadership roles at the resort, having launched and implemented
multiple best practice projects. Frank’s in-depth knowledge of optimized inventories
and front-line experience gives him a unique and relevant viewpoint. He has an Associates
degree in Culinary Arts.
Eddie McDonough, Vice President of Sales
Eddie McDonough has 30 years hospitality industry experience, including eight years in various
hotel management positions from regional operations manager to hotel general manager
for Great West Hotels. Eddie transitioned to hotel management software sales and
service, representing major developers of property management, point of sale and
food and beverage solutions, most recently serving as Vice President of Hotel &
Resort Sales for MICROS-Fidelio. Eddie has worked with diverse enterprise operations
including mixed use resorts, hotel chains and restaurant chains. Eddie is a member
of Hospitality Financial & Technology Professionals.
